Accountant

Responsibilities:Manage all accounting transactionsPrepare budget forecastsPublish financial statements in timeHandle monthly, quarterly and annual closingsReconcile accounts payable and receivableEnsure timely ban paymentsCompute taxes and prepare tax returnsManage balance sheets and profit/loss statementsReport on the company's financial health and liquidityAudit financial transactions and documentsReinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessaryComply with financial policies and regulationsAnd any other role as assigned by the MD.Requirements:BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance or relevant degreeAdditional certification (ICAN,ACCA) is a plusWork experience as an AccountantExcellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Hands-on experience with accounting software like Sage and QuickBooksAdvanced MS Excel skills including Experience with general ledger functionsStrong attention to detail and good analytical skills
