ResponsibilitiesManaging and overseeing day to day accounting operationsWorking closely with the Accountant to analyze accounting dataProducing and cross-checking financial reports/statementsImplementing corrective measures and outlining proper accounting proceduresEnforcing systems to collect and verify financial dataConducting and monitoring month and year end processesKeeping a track of accounts payable and receivableCollecting, creating and maintaining cash receipts and general ledgerMaintaining payroll recordsUndertaking budget and cash forecastingConducting revenue and expenditure analysisCompleting annual auditsMaintaining fiscal files and transaction reportsDeveloping effective accounting practices and strategiesMonitoring and presenting accounting KPIs to the management and stakeholdersSupervising and training new employeesUndertaking check runs and tax assessmentsCoordinating with other financial managers to identify company's financial standing and goalsCommunicating with the Accounts Payable Clerk and Accounts Receivable Clerk for timely and accurate processing of bills/invoicesAdhering to the GAAP guidelines while conducting any accounting practicesPreparing and evaluating budget reportsUndertaking capital assets reconciliationsMaintaining cash receiptsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline3+ years of working experience as an Accounting Manager or Accounting SupervisorHolding Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licenseProficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks and SAPBasic understanding of bookkeeping and public accountingKnowledge of accounting principles and practicesExcellent leadership and administrative skillsAbility to maintain accuracy and integrity Impressive oral and written communication skillsAbility to multitaskFamiliarity with accounting laws and regulationsStrong analytical skillsAbility to meet deadlinesGood arithmetic skills and ability to comprehend complex data
