To manage the financial bookkeeping of our business, analyzing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with statutes and preparing budget

Job Description
Finance Functions
Preparation of financial statements (Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually)
Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Ensure proper documentation and posting on Quickbooks in line with office policy
Substantiate financial transactions with source documents
Maintain and document accounting and internal controls by preparing and recommending policies/procedures.
Reconcile payables and receivables accounts
Carryout bank and general ledger reconciliations
Petty Cash management
Invoicing of goods in line with approved standards
Secure financial information by completing database backups
Maintain bank accounts and officer relationship
Analyze financial information and summarise financial status
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
Provide schedule for audit purposes

Admin Functions
Management of office consumables
Oversee the maintenance of all office equipment
Scheduling of servicing, repairs and replacements when necessary
Management of vendors/artisans
Negotiating contracts, maximizing resources & minimizing costs
Maintenance of vendor database
Job Requirements
BSc in Accounting, Finance or a relevant degree
ICAN/ACCA is an added advantage
1-2 years experience
An experience in Audit firm is an advantage
Experience with financial reporting
Knowledge and competency in accounting principles
Excellent use of QuickBooks
Proficiency in MS Excel
Good administrative skills
Time and people management
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
