REQ5206 Administrator, Learning Academy (Open)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Training Administrator works very closely with the Learning Academy and Hotels & F&B functions to provide strong administrative and logistical supports to ensure all training programs & materials are well prepared and organized, training venue well set-up, training courses are well communicated to the business units and departmental training representatives, training records are well kept for government reporting and management’s analysis.

This position supports all 3 properties with an administration focus. However, this position is also responsible for elementary type of training course facilitation, internal event emcee, and projects and tasks as assigned by the Department Head and respective Property Training Managers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with the preparation of training materials and contents.
Administrative support on course creation, enrolments and tracking of attendance and reporting at the Absorb system.
Assist with training venue set-up and logistical arrangement.
Conduct basic training sessions such as the Melco Orientation, Brand & Service training, language & system courses, etc.
Assist with the e-learning content set-up in the Absorb system.
Coordinate with the external training vendors for the training logistics.
Support the Hotels & F&B functions with any training administrative / logistical support
Involved in the preparation of the industry wide competition. Assist with internal training & mock-up competition arrangements
Organize for the Department’s training inventory and supplies
Responsible for any other administrative tasks/ projects as assigned by the Department Heads & respective Training Managers.

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

Excellent customer services with proactive approach provided to the Department and Business Units, and participants.
Excellent coordination and organization of training programs including internal and external customized courses.
Well-organized administrative functions including training records, and reporting which meets with business needs within the required timeline.
Effective facilitation of training sessions

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience(pleaseindicate minimum required and preferred experiences)
Hotels/ F&B Operations for a minimum of 2 years required and/or Training/ HR experience preferred.

Education(pleaseindicate minimum and preferred academic requirements)
Degree holder in Hospitality Management/ Human Resources preferred or similar discipline.

Skills / Competencies(pleaseindicate requisite competencies that are qualified for the position)
Possess a natural passion for training
People oriented with confident communication skills
Fluent spoken and written in either 2 of the following languages, but able to communicate in all 3 languages: Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
Knowledge & skilfulin Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet Explorer and research skills
