Job Description
On behalf of our clients, Topron is hiring for the position of Agile IT project manager.
Essential Job Functions
Previous experience developing a web-based project from inception to end including, running a hybrid project delivery
Ability to create a business case, project charter, project plans RAID logs, and support QA testing
Demonstrated experience working with web developers or vendors I and working with Sponsors in developing an online platform
Creates and implements project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for a web project of moderate complexity.
Prepares detailed statements of work and gains concurrence and approval from stakeholders regarding various project aspects and adjusts accordingly.
Participates in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to project mana
Organizes project team members to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, and objectives.
Manages costs, schedules, and quality by overseeing project deliverables.
Ensures schedule and budget are met. May revise as appropriate.
Performs ongoing review of project status; identifies possible project risks.
Recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate.
Works in conjunction with project team members and independent consultants to managing changes to technical requirements, business requirements, and schedule of the project.
Manages client, company, and project team expectations for agreed-upon project performance by obtaining and providing project metrics.
Recommends changes or alternate paths based upon performance and metrics.
Oversees assigned personnel for projects. Assigns work and provides direction concerning timeliness and completion of project objectives.
Addresses performance issues within prescribed guidelines.
Provides performance input upon completion of the project.
Basic Qualifications (Must Haves)
Demonstrated experience working on an online portal/website
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, information technology, or related field preferred
5 or more years of experience in project management
Experience working with agile project management methodology including budget development, project planning,
control and assurance methodologies, project management software and finance and accounting concepts and practices
Experience working with client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors
Experience working with delivery assurance principles and appropriate procedures relevant to the area
Nice to Haves
Previous experience working on a customer loyalty rewards initiative will be a definite asset
Agile Scrum Certificate, PMP or IIBA certificate is a definite asset
