Job Details

The job description of the successful candidate among other things include:

Work with the Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the farm.
Preparation of work plan and crop calendar for planting, field management, and harvesting of tomatoes, cucumber, and soybeans.
Planting, application of manure, staking, trellising, weed management, harvesting, and post-harvest handling of tomatoes, cucumber, and soybeans.
Technical backstopping, capacity development, and training of daily-rated staff attached to the farm.
Preparation of timesheet for casual/daily rated staff.
Motorcycle maintenance, irrigation management, and fertigation.
Any other responsibility assigned to him by the Farm Manager or the Management staff.

Qualification

OND or HND in Plant Science or related discipline with 1 to 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
