We are a multiproduct maritime trade and logistics booking platform with an integrated finance solution empowering businesses in Africa. We aggregate demand and supply of end-to-end services, and back it with working capital, in Africa’s a trade and energy industries.

What You’ll Do
You’ll:
Help us to scale a fast-growing digital freight forwarding business into the first-choice for traders across the continent
Lead and manage the sales, marketing and business development for the Transit business, in close collaboration with the C-Suite
Bring in new leads to grow MVXtransit’s customer base
Building or bringing existing relationships and unlock opportunities with businesses that require import, export and land logistics services
Supporting, where required, the commercial quotation process
Supporting, where required, freight forwarding operations
Supporting growing the network of suppliers and freight forwarding partners globally
Work with tech teams, operational teams and existing marketing leads to bring excellent customer service - from first contact to repeat order after repeat order

hat you’ll bring
Experience
A minimum of 7 years of professional hands-on experience in a business development, sales, commercial or partnership building within global logistics and/or supply chain. We are open to candidates who have been in an operational role, but who have had significant exposure to customers and suppliers.
Required
A passion for using technology to unlock growth opportunities in supply chain, logistics and the blue economy
Experience in the Nigerian freight market
Understanding and experience in driving sales for international freight markets
Proven ability to secure new partners or customers who are importers or exporters
Track record of strong customer service
Management experience and ability to lead a team with little or no supervision
Experience or interest in digital growth engineering/marketing/infrastructure
Openness to innovation and desire to seize new opportunities
