Catering Supervisor

Requirements:Description A catering supervisor is responsible for planning and supervising food service for special groups and gatherings, such as banquets, receptions, coffee hours, conference luncheons, and dinners. A catering supervisor ensures that the staff is working together as a team. Duties include communicating with guests and other employees or departments to ensure guest needs are met; responding to and trying to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements; setting up banquet area/ room; ensuring cleanliness and proper set up of furniture/ equipment; and inspecting and maintaining table set-ups for cleanliness and neatness; and handling agreements as per group requirements and company standards. A catering supervisor may also be responsible for resolving any conflicts/ problems related to on floor arrangements.

A catering supervisor job requires a high school graduation or equivalent qualifications. Good organizational and interpersonal skills are very important. A catering supervisor should have adequate knowledge of food service organization and operations.Benefits:Salary insurance
