Chief Security Officer

Responsibilities:Develop and implement company-wide security policies, procedures, and protocols.Conduct risk assessments and identify security vulnerabilities to mitigate potential threats.Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems.Manage a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and security consultants, to address security concerns and incidents.Monitor security threats and trends, and adjust security measures accordingly.Develop and conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.Prepare and implement emergency response plans and procedures.Investigate security incidents and breaches, and implement corrective actions.Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in security management, with at least [X] years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of security best practices, technologies, and trends.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.Prior military or law enforcement experience a plus.Location: GRA Port Harcourt
