Credit Analyst

ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and process retail credit requests for the market facing business units to facilitate prompt decisionsIdentify high risk retail credits transactions and quickly step them down if they cannot be mitigated.Work with other departments to ensure completeness of documentation to safeguard the Bank's position.Analyze and review retail problem loans and extract learning points for future corrective measures.Manage and assist market facing business units in retail credit structuring transaction and also provide advice and interpretations on credit policy.Manage the conveyance of all retail credit decisions to the business units to ensure proper information dissemination and swift response.Participate in various retail credit process transformation projects, credit product development and credit policy formulation to ensure alignment with Bank's objectives and goalsRequirements:Minimum of First Degree in a numerate or business related disciplineRelevantprofessional certifications such as Chartered FinancialAnalyst (CFA), Professional Risk Manager (PRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM)etc. and/or a second degree are added advantages.Competency:Knowledge offinancial, accounting and auditing processes.Knowledge ofmanagerial accountingKnowledge of banking regulatory guidelines.Knowledge ofthe banking industry.Knowledge of a Mortgage Bank's structure, operations, policies and procedures.Knowledge of Riskmanagement.
