Job Description
1. To ensure that the activities conform with individual HMOs and NHIS policies.
2. To ensure that appropriate codes or authorization are obtained for HMO enrollees.
3. To ensure that encounter data form, medical report and other necessary documents are completed and attached to
monthly bill as required by HMOs.
4. To ensure prompt and effective billing system that conforms with agreed tariff with individual HMOs/Retainer
companies.
5. To work in collaboration with the Hospital Manager to pursue and recover all debts being owed by HMOs and retainer
companies.
6. To reconcile client’s payment with the bill sent and make a report if there is any disparity.
7. To act as a relationship officer with the HMOs/NHIS and also represent the hospital together with any other key
officer(s) at all their meetings.
8. To give periodic orientation and presentation to members of staff on the operational operandi of HMOs/NHIS as
they unfold.
9. To act as Marketing Officer by sourcing for new clients and also canvass for more patronage of all the
organisation's services.
10. To work in conjunction with the Manager in the drafting/implementation of the marketing
programs and strategies.
11. Responsible for developing contents for Blog and posting of relevant Health tips in all Social Platforms including
bulk SMS.
12. To work in collaboration with the Manager to pursue and recover all debts being owed by HMO and Retainer
companies.
13. To assist the Clients Service Officer.
14. To provide report of all Marketing and Sales activities on weekly and monthly basis.
