Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as
Independent Logistics/Delivery Agents
. In this role, you will manage the delivery of goods and packages from our business to customers. You will work semi-independently, meaning you control your schedule and delivery routes, but you are responsible for completing all assigned deliveries efficiently and on time.
The position is ideal for individuals who are looking for a flexible work arrangement where compensation is based on a percentage of the delivery fee, rather than a fixed salary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up packages from the designated location and deliver them to customers safely and within the agreed-upon time.
- Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.
- Maintain effective communication with customers regarding delivery times, potential delays, or changes in delivery plans.
- Handle packages with care and in accordance with handling guidelines.
- Ensure that delivery documents are completed and signed as needed.
- Collect payment (if necessary) and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Work collaboratively with the logistics team to improve delivery operations and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines while performing deliveries.
- Report any issues such as traffic accidents, delivery complications, or damaged goods to the company immediately.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle, bike, or other transportation methods suited for deliveries.
- Strong knowledge of the local delivery area and routes.
- Good physical condition and ability to handle light to medium-weight packages.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and solve problems on the go.
- Experience in delivery or logistics is a plus but not required.
