Rockler is seeking a full timeEcommerce Merchandising Specialisttoadd, organizeand optimizeproductinformation on its website at Rockler.com.This will include uploading new product data using spreadsheets,auditing/editingproductpages for errors, omissionsor design issues,assigning products to the correct categories,auditing site search results,and adding marketing content that helps customers make better buying decisions.

Good understanding of online shoppingbest practices
Ability touse acontent management systemto enter, upload and editweb content
Attention to detail to produce error-free web pages
Basic understandingof(or ability to learn)HTML,CSSand responsive web designstandards
Curiosity and interest in understanding how to improve conversion ratesand online sales usingwebanalytics and customer experiencebest practices

Good keyboarding and data entry skills
Willing to ask for help and collaborate with otherswhen needed

Qualifications

Collegedegree (marketing majors preferred)
Previous experience using web content management tools(Magento or other ecommerce platform preferred)
Previous experience in retail or ecommerce preferred
Basic to advancedMicrosoftExcelskills
