About the Finance Officer (Graduate Intern) Role

We are looking for a driven, passionate and committed individual to join the team as we grow and expand across Africa and beyond.

As our Finance Officer (Graduate Intern), your primary responsibility will be to ensure daily management of all aspects of the Company’s finance functions, such as treasury management, procurement management, and financial reporting, as well as interacting with the Company’s financial data to provide timely and accurate information and analysis to Management that will aid efficient and effective strategic decision making.

What Your Day to Day Activities Will Be Like

Advise management on short-term investment opportunities

Assist with departmental and company-wide budget preparation

Participate in financial audits

Tax compliance management

Daily book-keeping on the ERP system

Invoice preparation

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers

Reconcile bank statements

Any other duties assigned

Required competency and skillset to be a waver

Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data

Excellent presentation & communication skills

Excellent analytical and numerical skills

Ability to work well in a team

Ability to multi-task & work efficiently with little supervision

Proficient with MS Office (Excel and Word)

Time management skills

Basic knowledge of ERPs will be an advantage
