Job Description
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Analyses accounting records including financial statements and other financial reports to accord accuracy completeness and conformance to standards defined within departments.
Work with Head, Accounts/Finance for appropriate financial strategies for the organization.
Review records of Accounts to ensure accuracy.
Develop system for maintenance of financial records making use of current technologies.
Prepare assets liabilities and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing accounts information.
Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other reports.
Substantiates financial statements by auditing documents.
Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
Prepares payment by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
Complies with federal, state and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor degree in accounting.
5-7 years’ experience in accounting and finance.
Qualified accounting professional
Good overall knowledge of accounting and information.
Experience in preparing yearly financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Experience in working with auditor on reports and transfer pricing documents
Experience in dealing with all business statutory tax returns reporting
Experience with period quantitative detailed reports.
