Job Summary:
The Children’s Place is looking for a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, Capital Management. The candidate will be responsible for leading the monthly forecasting and closing process, annual budgeting, variance analysis, and special projects as it relates to Capital, Depreciation, and Strategic Investment planning. The Manager will perform financial modeling and analysis of strategic investments and work collaboratively across the organization.

Key Accountabilities:
Oversee financial modeling of company’s strategic investment opportunities that drive value to company and its shareholders (familiar with Net Present Value, IRR, Break-Even, Payback, and Sensitivity modeling)
Collaborate across organization and project managers in putting together strong business cases for projects that get presented to top management and post-mortem project performance and benefits after project completion
Track investment projects against budgets and reporting of Capital and Enterprise Transformation spending
Budget, forecast, and close Capital, Enterprise Transformation portfolio, depreciation, IT, and capital labor
Review and financially optimize contracts related to Enterprise projects and IT spending
Develop business knowledge to financially lead and optimize investments and spending to drive most benefit to the company’s bottom line
Education and Experience:
Ideal candidate will have a BS in Finance, MBA and/or CPA a plus
5-10 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking or related fields

Demonstrated ability to model financial investments and present financial data in concise, logical, useful manner

Understanding of internal controls and Accounting principals
SAP and Hyperion systems knowledge as well as advanced Excel skills
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
