Job Description
1. Direct the design, development and implementation of the Bank's IT Strategy and Core Banking Solution.
2. Prepare annual budget and expenditure projections for the entire IT unit.
3. Plan, implement and update Information Technology Strategy for the Bank with detailed projects, owners and deliverables to support the overall strategy of JLMB.
4. Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
5. Set and define process and operational targets for the IT team.
6. Oversee IT management of processes and projects.
7. Implementation and support activities for IT processes, systems and services including all software, hardware and IT-related equipment.
8. Liaise with IT Auditor to monitor and respond to information security breaches.
9. Liaise with external vendors to effectively deliver on IT strategy and projects.
10. Evaluate alternatives, perform appropriate cost benefit analysis and recommend solutions that maximises effectiveness and minimise costs.
11. Oversee and maintain a secured IT platform for the entire banking operations ensuring appropriate IT Controls are implemented and maintained.
12. Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by top management.
