•JOB TITLE:Health and Safety Officer

•JOB LOCATION: Lagos

•JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
A successful health and safety officer’s main aim is to prevent accidents, injuries and work-related illnesses in the workplace. Their role is to create and implement health and safety policies in accordance with the latest legislation and to ensure that these policies are implemented by management and employees.
Their main duties and Responsibilities includes;
•Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation and Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives
•Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
•Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy, also record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
•Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.

JOB REQUIREMENT:
IF you are oriented and have good approach also have OND/HND and BSC in any related discipline from a reputable institution we will like to meet you.
