Junior Interior Designer

Responsibilities:Creating initial design sketches, color themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availabilityProduce sample boards and mood boardsto demonstrate preliminary designs to client.Consults with client to selectmaterials, furnishings, and décor pieces.Uses design applications toprepare and illustrate final plansUse of necessary materials,adhering to project and budget specifications.Maintains current knowledge of trendsand materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design. RequiredSkills/Abilities:0 -1 year experience working in an interior firm with a zeal to learn and growBachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field required; coursework in computer-aided design (CAD) highly preferredDetail-oriented and must be able to distinguish coloursAbility to apply a sense of styleto create aesthetically pleasing interiors.Strong visual design skillsincluding proportion and aestheticsExcellent communication skills, especiallyin regard to communicating an artistic vision.
