Learning And Development Manager

Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the firm's objectives and employee development needs.Identify training needs through regular assessments, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars on various legal topics, soft skills, and professional development.Coordinate and facilitate internal and external training sessions, including sourcing and managing external trainers and vendors.Create and maintain an online learning platform or repository for easy access to training materials and resources.Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback surveys, performance metrics, and post-training assessments.Provide coaching and support to employees to foster continuous learning and professional growth.Collaborate with department heads and HR to ensure compliance with training requirements and regulatory standards.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development.Prepare and present reports on training activities, outcomes, and recommendations to senior management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience as a Learning and Development Manager or similar role in a legal or professional services environment.Strong knowledge of learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and adult learning theories.Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and other training technology platforms.Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure training effectiveness and ROI.Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and growthDynamic and inclusive work environmentExposure to challenging and rewarding legal projectsSupportive leadership and mentorship programsJoin us at Olisa Agbakoba Legal and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence and continuous learning.Note:This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
