Legal Counsel - Product Compliance

Rockler is seeking a full-time legal counsel to lead our product compliance and general legal operations. The primary focus of this role will be working with our product development team and vendors to ensure compliance with product regulations around safety, handling, labeling and sourcing. Additional duties mayinclude contract reviews, intellectual property,data privacy,coordination of outside counsel, and generallegalcounseling.

Qualifications
JD from accredited law school of recognized standing and currently licensed to practice law in the United States.
At least 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably including some in-house legal experience.
Experience with or knowledge of the following areas a plus:
Product-relatedU.S. state and federal regulations (e.g., DOE, Prop 65, TSCA, etc.).
Global product regulatory regimes (e.g., REACH, RoHS, and other EU Directives, etc.).
Woodworking industry
Occasional travel may be required (10% or less).
