Job Summary
We are searching for an experienced and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our growing institution. In this position, you will act as a liaison between applicants, credit Underwriters and the entire team, helping qualified applicants obtain loans and manage the portfolios. The ideal candidate will have experience managing different types of loans including Consumer, group and business loans. To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate excellent marketing, communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Meet with loan applicants to identify their needs and collect information for loan applications.
Analyze active loan files on a regular basis and recommend solutions to speed up the loan process.
Interview applicants to define financial eligibility and establish debt payment plans and Monitor and update account records.
Submit loan applications in a timely manner.
Prepare detailed loan proposals.
Reject loan applications and explain deficiencies to applicants.
Respond to applicants questions and resolve any loan-related issues.
Operate in compliance with Company policies, as well as State laws and regulations.
Prepare reports to send to customers whose accounts are delinquent, and forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action.
Analyze potential loan markets and develop referral networks in order to locate prospects for loans.
Market bank products to individuals and firms, promoting bank services that may meet customers' needs.
Submit applications to credit analysts for verification and recommendation.
Approve loans within specified limits, and refer loan applications outside those limits to management for approval.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or similar field.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a loan officer in a S
Solid understanding of local, state, and federal loan regulations on Loan Management.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Officer and banking software.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer service oriented with exceptional sales skills.
