Responsibilities:To prepare a consistent, high-quality food product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service as per customer requirement & satisfaction.
- Ensures that all food prepared and served is according to the Standards.
- Check daily mis-en-place, preparation, cooking and presentation of all food.
- Ensure briefing and grooming of respective areas.
- Assist in planning of menu, daily specialties and Food promotions.
- Check the quality and quantity of food received direct from market, food store and other sub-departments.
- Control food cost by minimizing spoilage, food portioning.
- Maintaining minimum but adequate food inventory and utilizing of food surpluses.
- Ensure that all machines, equipment and utensils are clean and in good working condition at all times.
- Ensure that standard recipes are used as much as possible.
