JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Accountable for managing the overall maintenance and replacement of all company HVACR and lighting systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the overall maintenance and replacement of refrigeration, including maintaining 1, 3 and 5 year capital plans for replacement (Cases, Racks, Protocols etc.).
Manage the overall maintenance and replacement of HVAC.
Manage EPA compliance with EPA regulations pertaining to refrigerants and the records kept in connection with such compliance.
Manage the overall maintenance and replacement of Lighting, both interior and exterior lighting at the stores to implement new lighting technologies to be best in class.
Lead a cross functional team to invest capital in HVAC, lighting and refrigeration systems to reduce energy consumption and cost.
Review annual HLP budgets prepared by Finance and provide insight into utility rates, and other factors that may affect HLP budgets.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Required Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Minimum Years of Experience:8 years or more
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge
Proven project management skills with experience in organizing, planning and executing projects involving internal staff, contractors and suppliers.
Ability to research and identify technological opportunities.
Ability to anticipate and identify issues that may arise in the completion of projects and in planning annual budgets.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relations with teammates and external vendors.
Ability to analyze historical data to build an accurate financial plan and budgets.
Skills & Abilities

Work Environment
Work environment is split between office (SSC), stores and job sites. At stores the individual will be on the sales floor and in back room equipment/motor rooms, which can be noisy. Work will include hours outside normal business hours and the individual will be on-call 24/7.
