Responsibilities:Under the supervision of the health Program Manager, the Medical Supervisor will be responsible for the following main activities: Supervise the day-to-day activities of one of MDMs field clinicsAct as a focal point for the clinic in the fieldProviding technical and operational support to mobile clinic staff and/or OTP staffManagement and leadership of Clinic teamCollection and analysis of health & pharmaceutical dataSupporting the development of coherent project implementation strategyReporting and attendance to different meetingsManage Community Health WorkersLiaise with medical trainers to ensure the delivery of quality SRH, CMAM, PHC services to the target population. Tasks Description: Providing technical support to mobile clinic staffTrain MC staff on medical protocols including hygiene protocolsEnsure use and respect of medical protocols through observation and supervision of medical and paramedics staffImplement regular on-the-job trainings and supportive supervision according to a weekly/monthly scheduleTrain and supervise CHW working in mobile clinic areasEstablish mechanisms of providing regular weekly/monthly feedback on statistics and health activities to Clinic StaffPlan and implement thematic capacity building or specific trainings according to the identified needs for MC staff and/or OTP staffParticipate in establishing/improving referral systemSupervise drugs stock management in mobile clinics and OTPWork in close collaboration with the MDM medical trainers to ensure comprehensive on-the-job training for each of the specialities: SRH, PHC, EPI, Nutrition, LAB,Oversee and support the implementation of best practices introduced by trainers and HPCOperational Management of Clinic teamAct as focal point for liaison with community leaders and representatives in clinic area of operationLead on coordination with other actors, including UN, INGO and GoN, in clinic area of operationProvide regular, timely updates to Health CoordinatorOrganize the weekly schedule of the Clinic team to ensure the smooth running of the activitiesEnsure that Clinic medical and paramedics staff respect their assigned tasksProvide strong leadership to ensure Clinic staff understand and work according to MdM principlesCollection and analysis of health & pharmaceutical dataEnsure the implementation of data collection protocols, working closely with the database officer and HPCEnsure accurate collection of MC/OTP dataMonitor the drugs consumption by establishing/maintaining mechanisms of consumption record and inform the Health Program Coordinator and Pharmacist in case of any unusual consumption, or stock shortagesIdentify and rectify gaps or weaknesses in medical activities by using monitoring and supervision toolsEnsure rapid communication of suspect communicable disease to HPCDeveloping coherent project implementation strategyAssist in preparing and implementing operational action plan for MC and/or OT component in collaboration with MdM coordination teamAssist in the implementation of the project activities in collaboration with MdM coordination teamAssist MdM Health Coordinator and MdM medical coordinator in preparing data collection tools as well as medical and paramedics protocolsReporting and attendance to different meetingsPrepare a weekly activity report to submit to the Health Program CoordinatorCompile epidemiological reports for inclusion in medical reports or any other relevant reportsSupport the pharmacist to compile drug consumption report per monthParticipate in a pro-active way to MdM internal meetings (medical, security…) Others: Establish good relationship with the different stakeholders in order to have a smooth implementation of MdM projectBe flexible in performing his/her duties to ensure that beneficiaries are getting good quality servicesInform immediately the security focal point in case of any security problem in the fieldPerform other additional duties on request of the Health Program Coordinator and coordination team Profile Required: Medical DoctorExperience in similar position (management) for at least 3yearsGood knowledge in nutritionGood knowledge of pharmacyCapacities in team managementStrong sense of responsibilities and organization skillsStrong work ethic and rigorLanguages (spoken and written): EnglishFlexibilityTeam player
