Job descriptionThe job role involves the development and delivery of approved NDT training. It also requires instruction expertise in the following areas:Eddy Current TestingUltrasonic testing - UTMagnetic particle testing - MPT/MTLiquid penetrant testing - PT/DPTRadiographic testing - RTVisual testing - VTResponsibilitiesPlan, organize and deliver NDT Training as set forth in the approved curriculum guidelines according to required standards for Non-Destructive Testing training.Manage class and practical laboratory (lab) activities to maximize the learning processEnsure the development of up-to-date course materials and teaching slides (if required)Liaise with training Coordinator to ensure smooth course deliveryAdminister AssessmentAdhere to company's training schedules and no. of expected course delivery man-hoursTo maintain accurate attendance recordsTo conduct student evaluations in accordance with the Institute's policiesTo work with the training coordinator to ensure improvements in curriculumQualifications/Requirements:Minimum of a first degree (HND/BSc) ASNT NDT CertificatesMinimum of (3) Three years' experience in an NDT Instructor roleAbility to deliver other courses will be an added advantage Key Skills/Competencies:Resourcefulness and excellent time management skillsExcellent teaching and presentation skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Computer literacy: ability to work well with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
