ResponsibilitiesConducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and developing or following atreatment plan.Assessinghome and work environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.Advisingon adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.Developingphysical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.Preparingclients for a return to work.Educatingcaregivers and family members of clients on patient care.Evaluatingresults and progress of occupational therapy on clients.Maintainingprofessional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clientswith the best treatment program available.Complyingwith federal, state, and local certification requirements.Evaluatingpatient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.Skills and Requirements:Abachelor's degree in occupational therapy from a university certified by theACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education)Certifiedby the National Board for Certification.Possessup-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.Excellentinterpersonal communication skills.Abilityto take care of clients with different personalities.Comfortableusing a computer for various tasks.Abilityto assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans.Job Type:Full-time, PermanentNote:This is Lan Health Initiative recruiting for an NGOApplicants must pass a background check whichincludes providing 3 Guarantors and 3 RefereesNB:Our background checks are rigorous andinvasive.Location:Candidates must reside in Abuja.
