Job Summary
As the Social & Content Marketer, you will join the regional Marketing Team Middle East / Africa at OKEx, one of the world's leading crypto trading platforms. You’ll report to the Marketing Manager MEA and will be responsible for OKEx' brand presence and user engagement with our traders in the Nigeria market through social/content marketing. This is a role that requires a very hands-on mentality but at the same time allows you to be creative and independent. A broad range of tasks include but are not limited to social media writing and posting, engaging in comments, writing long copy.
We are looking for a solid writer in the local language, but even more importantly has a good understanding of crypto/blockchain and being able to translate your ‘soft’ content into user growth. Excited? So are we! Get in touch with us if you believe you are the right fit!
OKEx' HQ is located in Hong Kong - however, this is a remote function. Candidates can live in Nigeria, Hong Kong or other remote locations as long as they have in-depth knowledge of the Nigerian crypto-market.

Job Description/Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
The major goals are brand awareness (brand uplift), user engagement (comments/likes/shares/retweets) & positive sentiment (wordings) that in the end grow our user base
Take ownership of OKEx’ entire social presence in the market
Creating content calendar based on hero-hub-hygiene model specific for the market
Setting up social profiles (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, local communities) and owning them
Rolling out high-frequency content on social media, forums, communities (FB, IG, Twitter, Steemit, Reddit, Quora, Medium )
Writing and publishing low-frequency long content (monthly wrap-ups, market analysis, OKEx achievements )
Insert OKEx in the conversations/comments on forums, threads, communities… that are non-chat-based (so excluding Telegram, Whatsapp)
Monitor and quantify sentiment with tools like Mention
Write on-page copy for new website pages
Work with Business Development and Operations team for the market to get inspiration and exchange ideas about content
REQUIREMENTS
Must have 2 or more years of crypto/blockchain experience
Fluent in English, other local languages a plus
Knowledge of Google Analytics and overall digital marketing best practices
Work independently
Be able to prove effectiveness/ROI of social/content strategy with data
Bonus points for experience in e-mail marketing and graphic design
Knowledge of crypto market in Nigeria is a must
