Manage and coordinate day to day operations within an assigned terminal
Adhere strictly to scheduled service timelines, minimize disruption and resolve any unscheduled delays.
Coordinate the activities of the terminal operations staff for optimal productivity
Disseminate information as communicated by the management team to other terminal staff
Communicate shortage or surplus of buses at the terminal to the Operations support team
Track all blown buses assigned to the terminal effectively
Prepare and present report regularly on operational activities within the assigned terminal
Resolve minor grievances or disputes that do not require escalation
Conduct weekly price survey, documents findings using the approved template and forward reports to the DCOO
Ensure the terminal facility is efficiently cleaned and maintained
Meet the terminal performance and safety targets
Adherence to use of the ERP for all operational processes
Ensure experience officers remit accurate sales to the accountant
Develop and implement a terminal staff shift schedule in compliance with standards set by HCD.
Resolve customer’s queries and service issues ensuring excellent customer experience.
Identify opportunities and make recommendations for improved operational procedures and service delivery
Ensure all employees within the terminal comply strictly with the policies and procedures of the organization. E.g. resumption time, dress code, friendly attitude towards guests, etc
Promote/sell products and services to encourage greater use of online booking platforms (Website and App)
Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders including local authorities, regulatory bodies, highways authorities and representatives of the host community.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Skills:
B.Sc/HND qualification in a relevant field
Minimum of 5 years of operations and/or administrative experience
Experience from a service industry is required
Knowledge of fleet management is an added advantage
Computer proficiency in Microsoft office suites for reporting
