Part Time Nanny

Position: Part Time Nanny (Weekday evenings and Saturday mornings) for Theater Family

Would you like to spend a chapter of your life (10-12 months) in the beautiful Baroque city of Dresden in Germany?

We are a bilingual American-German family with two kids and two cats. The children are 16 months and 3 years old. Dad is an opera singer and mom is a pianist with the opera company, so both parents are usually busy rehearsing or performing on weekday evenings as well as Saturday morning.

We would love to meet a reliable, responsible person who is willing to build up a relationship with our kids and help us go to work with a clear head.

We are not able to provide accommodation in our house, but would do everything possible to find a furnished apartment in our neighborhood. We would be willing to cover part or all of the costs for lodging as well as for public transportation.

Since we get our schedules on rather short notice, flexibility and communication on a near-daily basis are key. We usually need someone to look after our kids from about 5 to 10 pm on about four evenings in a week, as well as Saturday morning from 9 am - 2 pm two to three times a month.

Your duties would be to play with the kids, (sometimes prepare and) give them their dinner, put them to bed and feed the cats.
