Job Summary
A growing natural skin care company in Lagos Nigeria that currently makes their products (soap, skin care, and hair care products) at their facilities is in need of a Production Manager to oversee the production and packaging of skin and hair care products as well as raw material and packaging inventory. previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a must, as well as an educational background in Chemistry, Food Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or any related courses.

Job Description
Duties include:
Monitor Preparing production and packaging areas for production (using sterile techniques)
Properly identifying raw materials and developing an understanding of ingredient
quality (with provided training)
Preparing ingredients for production
Measuring raw materials correctly using scales and volume measuring methods
Correctly following standard recipes and processes for different product production
Performing calculations to correctly scale recipes up or down as needed
Monitor Sanitizing of containers
Quality Control
Correctly assigning batch dates and calculating expiration dates based on batch
formulation documents
Monitor Packaging/wrapping/labelling finished products
Oversee Cleaning up after production, including tools and surface/floor cleaning
Manage inventory counts and restocking
Receive raw materials and cataloguing them properly
Organizing for the next day's tasks according to Production Schedule.
Monitor General store cleaning and production area cleaning
Manage production team of 3
Following basic data entry procedures on a computer using Microsoft Excel and Word
At times assembling shipping boxes and assisting the Customer Service team
when needed
