Sales Consultant

Job Description:
• Development of growth/sales strategies and plans.
• In-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
• Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employer’s systems and processes and then documenting them.
• Supports the BDM and other Operation managers of other Business Units in the delivery of client needs as required and provides feedback and corrective actions to the BDM.
• Carry out cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings
• Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of software to customers.
• Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software and hardware systems
• Provide technical advice to customers on all aspects of the installation and use of computer systems and networks, both before and after the sale.
• Advice on software features and how they can be applied to assist in a variety of context relatable to potential customers.
• Handle common hardware or software problems and consulting, referring on to specialist technical colleagues where appropriate.
• Assist and respond to tender documents, proposals, reports and supporting literature.
• Increasing client base/Develop quotes and proposals for the company’s existing and new clients.

Qualification and Experience
• 3 – 5 years as a Sales Consultant/Specialist/Representative or similar role
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant area of Sales and Marketing
• BSc. in Marketing, Business/Business Management, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, related field
• Additional certification in professional training is a plus
• Experience in developing leads and researching potential clients
• Familiarity with relevant software, including Microsoft Office and Salesforce
• Customer service-oriented attitude
• Strong negotiation and selling skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
