Security Technician

Responsibilities:Install CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion hardware cabling and other forms of cabling as technology continues to evolve.Working on home alarm systems, business security systems, and other safety devices such as closed-circuit video surveillance and fire alarmsTesting and servicing of installed equipment, such as cameras, card readers, and alarm points to any system and providing basic programming.Performing preventive maintenance and repair as per a client maintenance agreement and/or warranty.Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing systems and/or equipment.Participating in an on-call rotation schedule.Availability to answer client calls after normal working hours and on weekend/holidaysdepending on the rotation order.Updating the CEO on the status of all work performed on a daily basis.Notify CEO daily of any materials needed to complete duties.Perform additional Security Technician and related functions as assigned by the CEO and deemed within the general skill and ability level of a productive Security Technician in the industry.Requirements:BSc Graduate with a minimum of Second class (lower) in any technical or engineering field.Experience in CCTV, Access Control, Alarm & Intrusion, installation & programming for any such security systems.Required to adhere to Nigerian laws on Safety Standards and Data Protection.Safety Training certification will be an added advantage.Receive professional and technical knowledge by attending manufacturer training, seminars, conferences, etc when made available by the manager.Attend all team training and safety meetings.All employees will be required to pass all background checks, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.
