The Senior Marketing Associate will be responsible for all strategic marketing growth campaigns across all of the company’s offline and digital events.
Responsibilities:
Drive the development and execution of all marketing campaigns across the company
Lead customer-centric thinking and craft programs to meet those target markets
Establish goals and create strategy for meeting marketing deliverable's and metrics
Work closely with VP of sales and partnerships to enhance and align efforts Develop and establish a marketing strategy that will position the company as a leading media company for brands and agencies looking to reach young professional African women
Have a clear understanding of the overall company’s objectives and ensures that all marketing campaigns are aligned to this objective
Lead and direct all company’s offline and online marketing related projects from activation to go-to-market stages
Deeply understand data analysis e.g. customer behaviours (experiential) and market/competitive conditions, industry/economic trends, campaign performances and uses this to drive decisions regarding marketing strategies
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the various departments and looks for ways to align the marketing department’s activities to support their key objectives
Manage and track the performance of the department’s team members
Provide mentoring and coaching support to the team as necessary
Provide key strategic support on special initiatives or projects as needed
Be an effective leader and ensure all marketing programs are successful, metrics-driven, and goal-oriented
Requirements:

Proven leadership experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy Experience in building brand awareness and recognition Results oriented Excellent English writing skills and the ability to adapt and change your style of writing Experience in building and growing communities across markets using a variety of content, marketing and partnership strategies Ability to market in line with the SLA brand voice Knowledge of digital marketing strategies Social media savvy and being up to date on current trends Able to deliver on metrics-driven results and an understanding of analytics You are metric driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data Graphic design and video editing skills with tools like Canva (or the willingness to learn them) Experience managing teams is a plus

50 hours per week, usual working hours are from 9:00am - 6:00pm WAT. There will be a requirement from time to time to start work earlier or finish later as the role
dictates.
