Job Description
o Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
o Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
o Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
o Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
o Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
o Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
o Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
o Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
o Commit to plant safety procedures
o Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
o Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements
o Prepare, analyze and issue production and performance reports
o Maintain all administrative records
o Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program
Skills and Qualifications
o 10+ years’ plant leadership operations experience
o Able to lead root cause analysis investigations
o Able to explain training material to our operating staff
o Aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting
o Comfortable working in alcoholic beverage and manufacturing environment
o Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting
o An eye for detail
o Ability to take ownership
