About Company: Founded in 2016, Amarava Agro Processors Ltd (A subsidiary of Fullmark Group) is a leading rice mill plant situated in Kano State in the Northern region of Nigeria.
About Job Role: Shift Change Supervisor oversees the daily activities and how employees perform during their shift. They are responsible for maximizing production and output . They are also in charge of maintaining a tidy and organized workspace while ensuring that production runs smoothly.
Core roles and responsibilities include:
- Manage daily schedules, employee shifts, and time-off requests
- Assign duties to employees and oversee their progress
- Ensure that daily production goals are met
- Train and integrate new workers
- Provide guidance and feedback to employees when needed
- Ensure industry rules and regulations are followed
- Resolve conflicts between employees
Skills
Able to speak, write and read the English language, Hausa is a plus.
Able to follow policies and procedures in conducting job tasks.
Able to work with a team and independently.
Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
The rice mill operates Monday - Sunday 24 hours a day. Two
shifts fill every 24 hour period morning 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, and Night shift
8:00 pm - 8:00 am.
Employees rotate to the next shift, that is, from morning
shift to Night shift, every week (with exceptions). So the position requires
availability Monday - Sunday 24 hours a day with one day off every week.
Preferred Education
University Degree or other equivalent education.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications or Certifications will be a plus.
Experience:
2 years plus experience in leadership position.
