Superintendent Pharmacist

Job Description

Provide a full complement of pharmaceutical services in a community pharmacy that allows excellent patient care. Dispensing appropriate dosage of prescription and OTC drugs to patients. Facilitate the registration of the premises with PCN. Coordinate and supervise other pharmacists, interns and support staff (pharmacy technicians sales assistants and cashiers). Provides medicines information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counselling patients on drug therapies.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in pharmacy. Registered with the pharmacist Council of Nigeria. Good interpersonal relation and professionalism. Good communication skills, problem solving and team work Self-motivated with the ability to work with or without supervision, flexible and organised. Maintains patient confidentiality and high level of efficiency and accuracy at all times. Ability to multi-task, champion change and initiative. Leadership/managerial skills are essential. Understanding of MS Office and Pharmacy information systems.
