Job title:Team Lead, Business Development (Public Sector)

Job Summary
· The Team Lead, Business Development (Public Sector), through positive and strategic planning, is responsible for improving and growing the Gennex business in that sub-sector, by developing and deepening relationships with public institutions at all levels. The job holder will be responsible for consistent, long term profitable growth in sales revenues for the organization.
Main Responsibilities
· Design an aggressive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and drive the implementation
· Identify and generate new business leads and opportunities for the business
· Own the sales/revenue targets and drive marketing activities to achieve same
· Develop business proposals for existing and new customers; establish a knowledge storehouse of clients, referrals, presentations, and prospects.
· Supervise database of client relationship management and utilize the result to manage customers and the mailing lists
· Liaise with the finance team, warehousing, and logistics departments as appropriate to ensure products get to customers on due dates.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to enhance business expansion and improve market share in all product lines.
· Participate in forums related to the industry; conferences and client discussions. In other words, act as a representative of the company
· Conduct research and constantly analyze the market trends to identify new markets and customer needs
· Any other duty of similar responsibility assigned
