Job Description
Make ticket booking using a booking and reservation GDS (Global Distribution
Systems) software such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
Provide fare quotes to all clients to provide the best applicable fares and
generate sales.
Maintain and develop strong, sustainable relationships with airline sales team and
its corporate and direct clients.
Gather market and client information, and follow up with calls to develop new
business.
Develop and maintain an extensive customer database using its CRM system
Provide travel services to its corporate clients.
Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core
values
Answer inquiries regarding information such as schedules and procedures.
Work with a corporate Travel Management Company or airline dealing with corporate customers
Responsible for providing excellent services to customers in terms of ticketing
reservations and company product to generate sales and ensure customer
satisfaction and loyalty.
Carry out other tasks assigned by the Manager
Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all departments.
Develop the daily and monthly sales report
Handle issues, re-issuing and re-validation of clients PNR in Amadeus and Sabre
Comply with the organisation’s reservation policies and procedures and standards
of customer service (i.e. handling guest problems, answering telephone inquiries
within 3 rings, pre-flight checks, timeliness, grooming, courtesy etc.)
Keep self up-to-date on airlines rules, policies and procedures
Handle queries including re-issues and refunds in a timely manner
Will handle ticket sales for all airlines currently operating in Nigeria
Requirements/Skills:
Fluency in GDS system (Sabre, Amadeus and/or Galileo)
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Must be motivated to sell, quick and eager to learn, and driven to achieve
high-performance standards.

Travel Industry knowledge and understanding of IT basic skills
Qualifications/Experience:
University degree, Higher National Diploma or IATA Training Aviation School Training
Proficient in Mathematics and fluent in the English Language
Professional qualification in Travel and Tourism or IATA/UFTAA certificate
At least 3-year experience developing corporate and individual travel sales
worked with a corporate Travel Management Company or airline dealing with
corporate customers.
Must have supervisory skills as you will be expected to work independently and
lead cross-functional teams
Knowledge of aviation and the airline industry
