Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities:Establish standard and emerging operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing andshipping of productsPlan,develop and implement warehouse safety, security programs and protocolsReviewwork orders, commodities reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak deliveryperiods.Completeswarehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees;following up on work resultsManageand supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing and shippingof productsMaintainsphysical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts,inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacementSchedule pickup, delivery or distribution of productsProvideall required documents and reports in a timely mannerPerformother job-related duties as and when necessaryRequirements:HND in related fieldMinimum of 2 years' experience in commoditiesbusiness. Supply Chain management is highly desired.Abilityto lead, train and mentor other employeesMustbe result orientedGoodcommunication and management skillsProblemsolving skillsProficientuse of Microsoft officeExcellentleadership and organizational skillsAbilityto use a moisture meterWillingnessto travel domestically (up to 50%)SALARY:60,000 -80,000Suitable candidates must be basedwithin Ogbomosho/surrounding environment or be willing to relocate immediately.
