Requirements:B.Sc. Or HND in Accounting. Experience and informed with all standard accounting procedures and principles
Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task with good organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Excel proficiency
Responsibilities:Job Description
To assist in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts to strict deadlines, helping to ensure that all Balance Sheet Accounts are reconciled each month, taking corrective action to guarantee timeliness and accuracy of information.
To acquire and display a good understanding of the business and to provide management information to support the business.
To assist in influencing decisions affecting the cash flow and profitability of the business.
To assist in the preparation of monthly profit and cash flow forecasts.
Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
