Chemistry Teacher

Responsibilities:Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover various topics in chemistry, including atomic structure, chemical reactions, and laboratory techniques.Utilize hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and multimedia resources to enhance student learning and comprehension.Foster inquiry-based learning and critical thinking skills through interactive classroom activities and discussions.Provide guidance and support to students in conducting laboratory experiments safely and effectively.Assess student understanding through quizzes, tests, and practical demonstrations, and provide timely feedback to support their learning.Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported in their academic endeavors.Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional practices across grade levels and subject areas.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.State teaching certification or licensure in Chemistry or Science Education.Proven experience teaching chemistry or related subjects at the secondary level.Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts, principles, and laboratory techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement in teaching practices.Location:Rumuokwurushi, Port Harcourt
