Coating Inspector

requirements:A coren certified person and nace as per certified coating inspector / engineer: current nace level 2 with years of progressive working experience in coating / welding inspection, technical planning, project / engineering management and execution in oil & gas field, construction projects, pipeline and various projects. responsibilities: review project specification to ensure compliance during site activities/execution.
provide necessary technical advice on requisite corrosion control/ coating systems relative to material type and project needs.
conduct failure investigations/ analysis and review of relevant observations in making necessary recommendations to management.
review corrosion procedures and work method statement/programs for effective implementation.
ensure corrosion monitoring tools are functional and calibrated to date.
provide required support/expertise in ensuring that corrosion control/cathodic protection systems are effective.
conduct relevant risk based inspections/ analysis.
carry out polythene and polypropylene (p.e and p.p) coating.
inspection of sleeve coating materials.
inspect surface preparation as specified.
