Requirements:1. Responsible for planning menus according to employers- needs and diet restrictions.
2. Responsible for preparing meals according to employers- recipe and taste.
3. Handling all meals for the family and possibly for other household staff.
4. Responsible for stocking, organizing and cleaning the kitchen and all equipment including cooking utensils.
5. Responsible for shopping or order food and kitchen supplies and equipment.
6. Responsible for serving meals to employers- family and guests.
7. Plan and prepare food for parties, luncheon, special functions and other events.
8. Responsible for the coordination and organization of the kitchen and its gadgets as well as all food-related activities including the presentation and serving of food.
9. Responsible to create and explore new cuisines.
10. Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
Responsibilities:- Proven experience as a cook
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team/family
- Integrity
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent knowledge and proven experience of cooking African and Continental Cuisines
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- Minimum of SSCE Qualification; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
