Esports Director

Midland University, a private liberal arts university in Fremont, Nebraska, (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking a Full Time Esports Director.
Job responsibilities include:
Recruiting and retaining students for the Esports program
Creating and implementing strategies to grow the Esports community on campus
Conducting coaching and instruction activities during training, practice and competition
Coordinating off-season, practice and competition schedules
Assisting with team travel when necessary
Running camps, clinics, and promotional events
Pursuing sponsorship opportunities within the Esports business world
Ensuring team compliance with all league, conference, and institutional rules and regulations
Continuously ensuring personal behavior and program reputation are in alignment with Midland University values and brand

Need to have:
Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, as well as to travel with teams for any face-to-face contests

Strong preference for those with:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Competitive gaming experience
Experience recruiting high school and/or college students
