Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production targets and deadlines.Assign tasks to production workers and monitortheir performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are maintained.Implement and enforce safety protocols andprocedures to create a safe working environment for all employees.Train new employees on manufacturing processes,equipment operation, and safety protocols.Collaborate with the production planning team toschedule production activities and optimize resource utilization.Conduct regular inspections of equipment andmachinery to ensure proper functioning and address any maintenance or repairneeds.Identify areas for process improvement andimplement measures to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.Maintain accurate production records and reportson key performance indicators such as production output, quality metrics, andinventory levels.Resolve any production-related issues orconflicts that may arise in a timely and effective manner.Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability,and continuous improvement among production staff.Requirements:Minimum of Diploma in engineering, or a related fieldpreferred.Proven experience (10 years) working in furniture company,with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.In-depth knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes,materials, and techniques.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate andmentor a diverse team of production workers.Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints,and production specifications.Proficiency in computer applications such as MicrosoftOffice and manufacturing software.Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-makingskills.
