We are looking for a diligent and experienced HEAD-EARLY YEARS to monitor teaching and learning activities and ensure all pupils are able to make progress in all areas of learning. He/She should be able to maintain a positive and appropriate educational environment,
LOCATION: Maitama, Abuja.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. The Head-Early years must be passionate about working with children and embrace the schools vision and mission.
2. Pay key attention to the early year's program and familiarize with the school programme and pupils.
3. Ensure effective delivery of high quality teaching and the maintenance of academic standards.
4. Work with staff to promote best and innovative practice to enrich teaching and learning in the Early Years.
5. Lead the team in ensuring effective communication with parents/carers, colleagues,employees and clients
6. Having overall responsibility for the management of the school's programme of teaching, research and the implementation of the school academic policy.
7. Pay key attention to activities of students (babies, toddler and parents)
8. Monitor teaching and learning activities to ensure all pupils are able to make progress in all areas of learning
9. Maintain a positive and appropriate educational environment, and create a programme that meets the intellectual and emotional needs of all of our pupils.
10. Ensure that the academic standard of the school is of the highest quality and excellence.
11. Assist with the maintenance of storage, inventory and ordering of all equipment, supplies, gifts and prizes, which are specific to the Early Years program.
12. Display and practice an accessible and approachable personality while interacting with parents,scholars and employees.
13. Maintain a positive and appropriate educational environment while creating a programmes that meet the intellectual and emotional needs of all of our pupils.
14. Report schools progress and activities to Senior management on weekly, quarterly and annual basis.
15. Perform other related duties as assigned or as directed by senior management.
Responsibilities:REQUIREMENT.
1. Minimum of B.Sc, B.Edin relatedfield. Masters degree is an added advantage
2. Must have at least 4 years experience in early years management
3. Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Curriculum and the early learning goals
4. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures, effective behaviour management strategies
5. Must specialize in early years management and a be good Team leader.
6. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Excellent knowledge of ICT and application of ICT in learning.
Salario: 200000.00 NGN Monthly
