Job Description
Assist and coordinate specific Human Resources administrative sequences and attends to the general applications and interventions associated with the functionality in order to ensure adequate guidance and support is made available to employees with respect to comprehending and understanding organizational and legislative procedures related to comprehending and understanding organizational and legislative procedures relating to their employment, benefits and development.
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities
Employee Resources Functionality
? Prepares notifications with HR Officer using pro-forma associated with the confirmation of employment, contracts, regret letters and termination of service.
? Maintaining and updating personnel information with respect to changes in employment/ personal status and attending to the safekeeping of personnel records/ files in accordance with approved record keeping systems.
? Compiling reports on specific personnel related items (medicals, study loans, etc.) and seeks approval prior to forwarding.
? Completing standardized forms and documentation reflecting details/information and or descriptions in respect of medical boarding, injury on duty, appointment/ termination instruction and or leave applications and forwarding to specific internal/ external departments for processing.
? Preparing memorandums to communicate specific human resources procedures and seeking approval prior to circulation.
? Processing / updating Human Resources Information System record from approved applications and submissions with respect to training employee assistance programmes staff establishment details, job design and specifications.
? Applying specific statutory and procedural sequences on engagement of the successful applicant (unemployment Insurance Fund Registration, Income Tax, Banking Details, Medical Checks, etc.)
Training and Coordination
? Co-ordinates procedural requirements associated with personnel development initiatives.
? Receiving and referencing training and study loan applications and checking budget provisions and availability of funds to ensure continuously and administrative procedures are compiled with and critical training interventions prioritized and efficiently and cost effectively co-ordinated. Information and Statistics
? Collates and prepares qualitative and quantitative information for inclusion into specific statutory reports by:
? Determining reporting requirements and accesses specific records and information system databases to extract information.
? Making available verified information to facilitate the compilation of statutory reports for submission to official regulatory bodies depicting the employment and skills profile of the organization.
? Arranging and interpreting information to formulate summaries and conclusions on specific dimensions of human resources within the organization (employment levels, categories, gender and race groups, disabilities, skills profile, etc.)
Human Resources Management
? Maintain effective compensation management structure for employee retention
? Ensure effective implementation of employee compensation plan such as pension, HMO, leave allowance, prepare HR policies in line with company policy, and adhere to benefit structure according to the hotel’s policy.
? Develops and recommends appropriate training for all employees, by collating training recommendations from departmental executives.
? Perform talent audit on all staffs and make sure staffs are satisfied with their job role.
? Identifies employees with potential for promotion and/ or transfer and makes appropriate development plans for him or her together with the departmental executive.
? Identifies training needs, and make sure staff receives training, including skills training to provide consistent, reliable service.
? Conducts and guides staff and work closely with all departmental executives on the following Human Resources tasks:

? Discipline and Grievance
? Employee Relations
? Wage and Salary Administration
? Compensation and Benefits
? Succession Planning
Employee Relations
? Fosters and develops effective relations within department and throughout the hotel
? Ensure staffs adhere to the company policy, rules and regulations
? Ensure each department conducts monthly meetings
? Looks for ways to motivate and challenge employees

Qualifications and Experience:
? A university degree from social science or any other relevant field.
? A minimum of 5 years core HR working experience and at least 3 years in a managerial role.
