Responsibilities:Lead the recruitment and onboarding process for all departments, ensuring the acquisition of skilled and passionate individualsDevelop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to attract, retain, and motivate a diverse and talented workforceConduct training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees across various departmentsCollaborate with department heads to ensure efficient inventory management and stock control, minimizing stock outs and overstock situationsOptimize operational processes and workflows to enhance productivity and reduce costs across the organizationOnboard new employees with HR policy guidance.Report to relevant business units and business leaders every week.Provide consultation to the line manager on coaching and career development.Analyze trends and relevant HR metrics to develop solutions, HR programs, and policies.Identify trends and needs for training programs.Identify new roles, schedule interviews, and follow up to ensure successful outcomes.Ensure healthy employee relations.Develop a solid HR strategic plan for talent acquisition.Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risks.Suggest new HR strategies, policies, and agenda for continuous improvement.Resolve employee issues and grievances and conduct unbiased investigations.Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.Work with HR Director to structure compensation, payroll, benefits, and other perks & packages.Build credibility with clients by providing insight and guidance on HR or broader business issues.Make recommendations to the business structure over time.Take the lead for the deployment of HR initiatives internally and globally.Qualifications:Minimum academic qualification of BSc. HRM, Business Administration or similar field or other relevant qualificationsAt least 7 years of HR industry experience, preferably with a growing organization, in resolving complex employee relations issues through performance management.At least 5 years of knowledge in a broad range of HR functional areas.International exposure/global outlook, balanced with a pragmatic understanding of the African business and economic environment.Ability to build and grow an opportunity pipeline.Proven ability to establish and build client relationships and engage and grow a network of stakeholders.Strong proficiency in the use of relevant document processing software for documents, presentations, marketing, research and analysis (MS Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint). Experience of web-design, digital or other social media skills; an advantage.Strong business acumen with excellent sales and negotiation skills.Strong project and people management experience. Professional certifications an advantageExcellent written and spoken EnglishExcellent in people management and employee engagement.Understanding of local employment laws and union relations.Demonstrated ability to understand training needs and development programs.Experienced in problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Apply via email with your CV and detailed cover letter.
