We are looking for an experienced Human resources specialist who will be responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing and placing workers as well as be in charge of training and development of our staff.
The HR and Training Manager will devise our organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes. You will identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that build loyalty to the firm.
HR and Training manager’s responsibilities include enhancing employees’ skills, performance, productivity and quality of work.
They will also handle employee relations, payroll and benefits.
You will also direct and coordinate the administrative functions of an organization. They oversee specialists in their duties; consult with executives on strategic planning, and link a company's management with its employees.
Responsibilities
• Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
• Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
• Deploy a wide variety of training methods
• Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
• Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
• Manage training budget
• Provide opportunities for ongoing development
• Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
• Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
• Plan and coordinate the workforce to best use employees' talents
• Resolve issues between management and employees
• Advise managers on policies like equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
• Coordinate and supervise the work of specialists and staff
• Oversee recruitment and hiring process
• Direct disciplinary procedures
